This KANE EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS "Wound Care" course is for RN's, LPN's  and APRN's wanting to become more familiar with the current concepts in the best practice and treatments of the different types of wounds they will encounter in the clinical setting today. Learn "Best Practices" with our highly experienced, currently active, Certificated Wound Care Instructors (CWCN) with 15+ years experience.


LEARN-TOUCH-PRACTICE

  • Accurately Assess and Measure a Wound
  • Perform Wound Vac Dressing Change- NPT
  • Apply Pneumatic Compression Therapy and Leg Wrapping
  • Colostomy Care
  • Perform Ankle-Brachial Index with Doppler
  • Suture and Staple Removal

Course Includes: 3 Days of Classes; Hands On Practice Following Demonstrations; Lunch; Test; Plus Additional Home Study Materials.

***Text Books Included:

Lippincott's "Wound Care Made Incredibly Visual" AND the National Board Certification Test Preparation Guide for the American Board of Wound Management Certification.

CE's Awarded: Total CE's Awarded: 50 CE's (For RN's and LPN's). 21 CE Hours "Live"; 29 CE's Home Study (up to 6 months to complete).

** This KANE EDUCATIONAL Wound Care Course should help you gain an entry level position in wound care when completed.  Students with three years or more of documentable wound care related experience may apply for National Certification through the American Board of Wound Management.
